A lasting legacy.
Located in Oneonta, New York, Legacy Labs was developed three years ago by us, Bill and Pam Baker, shortly before we experienced the birth of our first litter of puppies. The business quickly took off from there. However, its inception began many years ago with Pam's very first lab, a yellow by the name of Harley.
The only male in a household of mother and two young daughters, Harley was an integral part of the family for years before it was discovered he was sick. He passed at the age of 8, just weeks before his 9th birthday.
Though Harley saw the introduction of several other dogs into the brood, he always held a special place in everyone's hearts. We honor him now and celebrate his legacy by helping families just like ours find their own special canine addition.

We are small breeders and work with only those dogs who meet the high standards of the breed. Our dogs are AKC registered, OFA certified for hips and elbows, and are cleared for EIC (exercise induced collapse). We work toward the improvement of the Labrador Retriever. Our dogs are raised on  30+ acres of woods, fields and streams and have access to all of these areas for work and play. Our kennels are new, and we are very proud of these facilities.

Harley's Legacy Labs is not a hobby, it is a business that has grown out of our love for the breed. We strive to produce dogs who will become as important to your family as they are to ours.
